These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and purchases made through our online store.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please review them before purchasing.
 

1. About Tall Order

Tall Order designs and sells made-to-order furniture components that allow customers to create their own finished pieces.

Our products are intended to combine thoughtful design with a hands-on building experience.
 

2. Products & What's Included

The Tall Order Bench Kit includes two precision-cut steel bench ends.

Lumber, screws, tools, and finishing materials are not included. Customers are responsible for sourcing these materials and assembling their bench.
 

Product photographs may show fully assembled benches for demonstration purposes. Wood species, finishes, dimensions of completed benches, and surrounding accessories may vary.
 

We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent our products, including their colors, materials, dimensions, and specifications. Actual appearances may vary slightly due to manufacturing processes, lighting, and screen settings.
 

3. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Payment is required when an order is placed. Applicable sales taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout.
 

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, refuse or cancel orders affected by errors or suspected fraud, and contact customers when additional information is required to fulfill an order.
 

If an order is canceled after payment because we cannot fulfill it, we will issue a refund.
 

4. Made-to-Order Production & Shipping

Each Tall Order Bench Kit is manufactured after an order is placed.
 

Estimated production times are:

• Raw steel: 2–4 business days

• Powder-coated steel: 7–10 business days
   

These estimates begin after the order is submitted for manufacturing and do not include shipping transit time. Production schedules may vary due to order volume, material availability, or circumstances outside our control.
 

Tall Order currently offers free shipping to eligible U.S. destinations listed at checkout.
 

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If an order arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or experiences a delivery issue, please contact us so we can investigate and assist.
 

5. Returns & Damaged Orders

Each Tall Order Bench Kit is made to order. For this reason, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind.
 

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within seven days of delivery, with your order number and photographs of the issue.
 

We will review the details and work toward an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement components, a refund, or another remedy depending on the circumstances.
 

Minor cosmetic variations may occur as part of the manufacturing and finishing process and do not necessarily indicate a defect.
 

Raw steel is intentionally unfinished and may display surface marks, oxidation, or discoloration.
 

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.
 

6. Assembly, Materials & Product Care

Tall Order Bench Kits require customer assembly and finishing.
 

Customers are responsible for selecting appropriate lumber, hardware, tools, and protective finishes, and for following the instructions and safety guidance provided in the Tall Order Build Guide.
 

Steel components, particularly unfinished raw steel, may have sharp edges and require appropriate edge preparation before handling and assembly. Protective equipment and safe tool-handling practices are recommended.
 

Unfinished steel is susceptible to rust and corrosion, especially when exposed to moisture or outdoor conditions. Customers are responsible for applying and maintaining appropriate protective finishes based on their intended use.
 

Completed bench performance depends on factors including lumber selection, construction, assembly, maintenance, and intended use. Do not exceed any published product limitations or use the bench in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.
 

7. Website Content & Intellectual Property

All original content on this website, including Tall Order's branding, product designs, illustrations, photographs, written instructions, and other materials, is owned by Tall Order or used with permission.
 

Content may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or used commercially without prior written authorization, except where permitted by law.
 

The purchase of a Tall Order product does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
 

8. Website Availability & Changes

We strive to keep our website accurate and accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that all information will be free of errors.
 

We may update product details, pricing, website content, and these Terms & Conditions as needed.
 

Changes will be reflected by the updated date on this page and will apply prospectively, except where otherwise permitted by law.
 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tall Order is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from improper assembly, modification, misuse, inadequate maintenance, or use of unsuitable materials.
 

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any non-waivable consumer rights.
 

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, except where mandatory laws provide otherwise.
